Camille Gannam, DMD
Dr. Camille Gannam was born and raised in Truckee and is thrilled to be back home providing pediatric dental care in the amazing Reno-Tahoe community that she grew up in. She earned her degree in Psychobiology from University of California, Los Angeles and her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine before pursuing specialty training and a Master of Science in Pediatric Dentistry at The Ohio State University.
After completing her specialty training, Dr. Camille spent two years working as a Professor of Pediatric Dentistry at Children’s Hospital Colorado, performing research and teaching the next generation of pediatric dentists. Although she enjoyed working in an academic hospital setting, she ultimately returned to clinical practice to focus on what she loves most – providing the highest quality dental care and building lasting relationships with her patients and their families.
Dr. Camille uses a child-centered, functional approach in her dental practice, focusing on creating positive and fun experiences for every patient. She is committed to understanding each child’s individual needs in order to provide care that is aligned with the oral health goals that are unique to each family – every kiddo is different! Dr. Camille is dedicated to helping her patients develop confidence along with a healthy smile and oral health habits that will serve them long after they graduate from her pediatric dental practice.
When not around the dental chair, Dr. Camille loves spending time exploring the great outdoors with her family, friends and puppy children, Dak and Moose. She loves hiking, backpacking, paddleboarding and skiing, and is so excited to continue exploring all of the outdoor magic that the Reno-Tahoe area has to offer!
